Are you confused about how to see Google Docs thumbnails? A newer version of Google Docs is kinda minimal UI and lightweight pages but the have hide a very common feature of previewing more than one images at a single go. The solution is already there in Google docs but to find it is not easy at all, i don’t understand why Google has done that and intentions behind doing it. Below here is a solution to view Thumbnail for you images, pdf, ppt, doc(x) and xls(x) files.

View Preview/Thumbnail of Single Item/Images/Docs:

– To view preview of single file (or image), just select that particular item only and click on Preview image (black eye), your thumbnail will be displayed in the right side column.

View Preview/Thumbnail of Multiple Item/Images/Docs:

– If you have too many images and you wants to see the thumbnail of all of them at once then you have to click the little arrow at the end of the search box, select the document type and click on it. Voila you have the image thumbnails in-front of you.
